Created by Alexander for his HAM/GMRS radio communications hobby for private use. It turned into more when his father mentioned wanting to use the platform and said he might have some use for it in the emergency management world, and then EtherLog was born.
EtherLog was built as a personal solution to Alexander's ever-expanding radio communications hobby. Personal project turned passion project.
EtherLog is a web-based software platform that offers key integrations such as call-sign database queries from “Who is calling me?" known as QRZ and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
OpenStreetMaps, OpenMateo, and other open-source platforms made this project possible in its beginning stages.
Along with those integrations, EL has local logbooks and calendars and calculation tools for an inclusive station dashboard meant to keep all your information and tools at the tips of your fingers without switching between different software.
Belle Rae is extremely grateful to be involved in this project and believes the software has the ability to bridge gaps in radio communications solutions and believes it will grow into something substantial for the radio communications community.
EL will be subscription-based and have options for lifetime access and support. Choosing to be a paid software will give us the capital to continue to get integration licenses from the radio communities' favorite service providers and increase the infrastructure to support growth.
EL will be introducing a contact solution that will go directly to the creative team and Alexander so users have the ability to reach out for support and integration recommendations. The team is excited and ready to continue developing this project.
